You can connect your PC to your TV and use a wireless controller to game just as you would on a console. Aside from Halo, pretty much every Xbox game is on PC as well. Well honestly, in my opinion, if you already have a PS4, PC, and Switch then no, the Xbox is not worth getting at all. It might be overkill because I have the pc but I just don't have the desire to play on pc at the moment and I like collecting physical games The backwards compatibility would be great to play games I missed. I'd be picking up the Xbox one x for red dead 1, mass effect trilogy, master chief collection (I loved halo 1 and 2 growing up), ori and the blind forest and multiplatformers like red dead 2.

I barely gamed during the ps3 and 360 generation and didn't have either console. I used to enjoy those things but now I appreciate electronics that just work. I work 55+ hour weeks and the last thing I want to do is troubleshoot, mess around with settings, etc. I have my pc hooked up to a TV but the ease of sitting on the couch and just turning the console on to play is refreshing. 6 months ago I picked up a ps4 which reinvigorated my love of gaming and shortly after I picked up a switch for botw and odyssey. I've had a pc for years but over time I lost the urge to game because I sit at a computer for 10 hours a day at work. Hey everyone, I'm trying to decide if I should pick up the Xbox one x on black Friday for $400.
